Who is Rumbolo Family? Well, if you go back to the very beginning, The Rumbolo family originated in Italy, more specifically from the region around Casteltermini in Sicily and began immigrating to the United States in the early 1900's. As far as I can determine all people with the Rumbolo family name in the United States are at least distantly related. Today there about eighty families with the last name Rumbolo in the United States. We are one of those families and this is our home on the internet. Originally this was just a simple web page we posted with a dialup internet account. In 1998 we decided to set up our own domain - and this has been our internet home ever since. We originally set up the Rumbolo.com domain because we got tired of moving the site and updating links whenever something happened with one of the various ISP firms we used. It also gave us the benefits of permanent email addresses - no more AOL or other ISP email addresses - we now have email addresses that actually correspond to real world names.
In fact we now provide email services and
addresses for anyone with a link to the Rumbolo Family - if your
last name is Rumbolo, or you have a family link (marriage, adoption,
etc) you can go to our contact page and apply for a free (yes really
free) email address <your name>@rumbolo.com
